Large-scale condo living at Riverside Gate
Some condos are built around efficiency. This one was built around space and efficiency.
607-3590 Rivergate Way is a two-bedroom plus den residence with three bathrooms, two separate bedroom suites, a dedicated dining room, a large balcony, and the kind of storage and room separation that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in condo living.
It is also part of Riverside Gate, one of Ottawa's established gated condominium communities on the Rideau River.
Residents arrive through a 24-hour staffed gatehouse and have access to concierge service, an indoor saltwater pool, fitness centre and steam room, two tennis courts, guest accommodations, a library, party and games rooms, waterfront grounds, BBQ terraces, bicycle and canoe/kayak storage, and even a car wash bay. It feels much closer to a private residential community than a conventional condo tower.
The residence itself follows that same sense of scale.
A ceramic-tiled entry leads into hardwood-finished living spaces with clearly defined rooms rather than one large open box. The den sits behind double glass doors and is finished with a curved wall of windows overlooking the landscaped grounds and tennis courts. It works equally well as an office, library, or quiet sitting room.
The kitchen is bright and generous, with granite counters, white wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a built-in wall oven. There is space for casual dining directly beside the kitchen, while the separate dining room gives larger dinners and entertaining their own place.
The primary suite occupies its own side of the home. The bedroom is comfortably proportioned, but the real standout is the storage: a large walk-in closet fitted extensively with built-in organizers. The ensuite includes a double vanity, separate shower, and deep soaker tub.
Across the residence, the second bedroom functions more like a guest suite than a secondary bedroom. It has its own full ensuite with tiled shower, an organized closet, built-in shelving, and an included Murphy bed. Guests have privacy without sharing the primary bathroom, while the room can still work beautifully as an office or flexible living space when it isn't occupied.
Between the two bedroom wings are a separate powder room and a proper laundry room, another small detail that says a lot about the scale of the floor plan.
An enclosed balcony extends the living space further, while large windows throughout bring in views over the surrounding greenery. Window coverings are included, with select motorized blinds.
Riverside Gate
Riverside Gate is a two-tower community developed by Urbandale on the banks of the Rideau River, with extensive landscaped grounds and shared recreation spaces. The community's amenities include waterfront access through NCC lands, tennis courts, BBQ terraces, a large indoor pool, fitness and steam facilities, guest accommodation, library and social rooms, all behind a staffed gatehouse with concierge service.
That combination is what makes 607 interesting.
You can leave behind much of the maintenance that comes with a larger house without giving up a dining room, private office, guest suite, real storage, or space to entertain.
And with Hunt Club, Mooney's Bay, South Keys and the airport all nearby, the setting remains practical without feeling busy.
For someone who wants condo living to feel like an upgrade in convenience rather than a compromise in space, 607 Rivergate makes a very strong case.
